Content Guidelines

Profile activation criteria

• A public profile picture is required for membership (visible to other members).
• This means at least one photo of you — face optional, but recognisably a person, not a logo, meme, or pet.
• Profile pictures must be safe‑for‑work: shirt and pants on (or equivalent). No nudity, no explicit content. DudesChat ships on the Apple App Store and must stay App‑Store‑safe.
• Activation photos cannot be a close‑up or highly cropped pic of any single body part. They must include at least your face or torso so other members can recognise you.
• If you want to share more revealing photos, please use our adult sibling DudesNude — same team, 18+ only.

What's allowed & what isn't

• We welcome all content that is legal in the USA and/or Europe and complies with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• We prohibit any content that goes beyond the bounds of what most people are likely to consider acceptable.
• All subjects must be — and appear to be — over 18 years of age.
• All subjects must give upload consent. By uploading photos, you affirm that you have their consent to do so.
• Sexually explicit content, full nudity, or pornography is not permitted on DudesChat. It belongs on DudesNude.
• Content featuring scat, blood, incest, bestiality, violence or forced/extreme sex is prohibited.
• Content that could be construed as advertising goods, services, or pay websites is prohibited.
• Content that has been altered, retouched or otherwise changed so as to present a deceptive image is prohibited.
• Memes, graphics, drawings, paintings, art, landscapes, pets, or other non‑human photos are prohibited as your primary profile photo (you may share them in chat with consenting recipients).
• Hate speech and content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic is prohibited and will be removed.

Photo verification

If you verify your identity using the "Get Verified" feature, for security purposes, do not upload your verification photo to your public or private profile. It should only be uploaded using the private verification page.

We reserve the right to revoke "Verified" status if the user appears to have outdated or edited photos, or for any similar reason.

Conversations & private content

Conversations between consenting adults remain private. Inside private messages, members may share content with each other that goes beyond the public profile standard — provided it is legal, consensual, and not prohibited by these guidelines (see list above). DudesChat scans private content only in response to abuse reports or legal requests, never proactively.

Communities & tags

DudesChat uses community tags (Bears, Muscle, Daddies, Otters, etc.) to help members find each other. Tags are self‑selected. Some sensitive tags (health‑related, kink‑leaning) are visible only to members who have also selected them, so they don't surface to people who aren't into them.
